Our pasture tents: stable, robust and highly protected from all weather conditions
Grazing animals and livestock spend most of their time out in the open. For their well-being and to provide field shelter from the sun or harsh weather conditions, pasture tents are an ideal solution.
Pasture tents can be used throughout the year. They are subjected to heavy winds and extreme weather (especially in the United Kingdom!) - making a stable and robust construction, as well as high-quality materials essential for all-season use on your farm, or for camping. Pasture tents can even be used as part of ‘Glamping’ facilities in a campsite, woodland or countryside event.
To meet these requirements, frame constructions for our pasture tents are made of fully galvanised, extra-thick steel. The fully galvanised material is perfectly protected from corrosion and extremely robust. Tarpaulins for all pasture tent models are made of PVC. The material is especially resilient and is used e.g. for lorry tarpaulins. It withstands strong weather conditions like heavy winds, sudden changes of temperatures, solar radiation or downpour for long periods of time. Our PVC tarpaulins guarantee durable inner grid fabric, which offers additional support and strength to the tarpaulin, making them a reliable all-purpose cover. On average, our PVC tarpaulins for pasture tents weigh between 550 and 720 g/m2.
We offer two different lines of pasture tents - the Basic and the Professional line. Both are available in different variants.
Our Basic pasture tents are highly mobile and can be assembled and disassembled quickly. Depending on the setup location, customers can choose between anchoring systems for concrete floors or soil. Our Basic pasture tents are available in different sizes and two different versions.
The standard version of the Basic pasture tent has a 550 g/m2 PVC tarpaulin. The Basic Plus variant comes with a fireproof Prime PVC tarpaulin, weighing approx. 720 g/m². Both tarpaulins come with welded seams that are 100% waterproof and UV resistant, with a certified sun protection factor of 80+. The 720 g/m2 Prime PVC tarpaulin offers additional tear strength - 9x higher than conventional PVC tarpaulins. It is especially resistant to high changes in temperature between -30 and +50 degrees Celsius.
By default, our Professional pasture tents are equipped with an approx. 720 g/m² heavy, fireproof certified Prime PVC tarpaulin. It comes with interior panels and is available in sizes 4x4 m and 6x6 m. Additional accessories include mesh panels to protect the inside from wind and insects. They can be attached to the side walls with ease.
For the 6x6 m variant, skylights in the tarpaulin are optional - giving you the possibility to flood the interior of the tent with sunlight. For the front of the 6x6 m Professional pasture tent, optional gate panels are available. This allows an option for locking in grazing animals if necessary.

A pasture tent offers your goats, chickens, and other livestock a safe, green and spacious facility with great security. Your animals can protect themselves from bad weather or too much sunlight with plenty of room for a toilet and a pitch for hay.
In addition to your animals, you also benefit from a pasture tent. In winter, the pasture tent can be used, for example, to store machines or materials. The high mobility of pasture tents means that they can be taken down, stored or set up somewhere else at any time. This allows you to quickly create space where you need it. This is a great advantage when a leased property is used instead of your own. The field shelter can thus be moved or resold at any time. This is why a pasture tent is an attractive alternative to solid construction such as wood-steel or carports from an economic and building law point of view. Apart from the possibility of using it as a weather-protected facility to feed and stand horses, sheep, cattle and other grazing animals, pasture tents can also be used in other ways as shelter for agricultural machinery, garden tools or vehicles. In agriculture, they can also be used as mobile storage space for straw, wood or other goods.
If you need an even larger tent for agricultural or commercial use, it is worth taking a look at the categories round arched halls, storage tents or tent halls. Here you will find particularly large and stable tents that can be erected for longer periods and are resistant to environmental influences. Some products are even available with a statics.

Structure of our shelter tents
The construction time of a pasture tent depends on the size and complexity of the product. If the field shelter has many individual parts and a complex roof construction, the assembly usually takes longer. For our 6x6 Professional pasture tents, it takes about 5 hours on average for 2-4 people to set up the tent. It is not necessary, but possible, to mount the pasture tents on a foundation. Depending on your requirements, you can choose between anchoring for concrete or earth when you buy. The ground should be even so that the horse shelter frame lies evenly on it. For the quick erection of our field shelters an easy to understand assembly instruction is enclosed.
Thanks to the simple construction, the pasture tent can be dismantled quickly, so that it can be stored or transported to a new location quickly if necessary.
Care and maintenance of the field shelters
If you want your horse shelter or pasture tent for a long time, you should check it regularly, clean it and repair it if necessary. Do you check whether all ground pegs and the ground anchoring system are really still firmly anchored in the ground? Check rubber loops, tarpaulins and rope systems for damage. If you find any, it should be repaired as soon as possible so that the damage does not get worse. It is best to use the appropriate original materials for replacement or repair, as these were specially developed for use in tents! Replacement materials and parts are available from us for many products for 10 years after date of purchase. Just give us a call, our customer service will be happy to help you.

You can quickly clean the tarpaulin with water, standard cleaning agents or special PVC cleaners that suit the coated materials. Before you store the tent, it should be completely dry to prevent moisture and mould from forming.
