Glass is a popular choice for greenhouses thanks to its clear appearance and excellent light transmission. The transparent side panels let you enjoy an unobstructed view of your plants while allowing plenty of natural daylight into the growing space.
Our greenhouses feature 4 mm toughened safety glass panels, combining the clear appearance and excellent light transmission of traditional greenhouse glass with greater strength and safety. The glass is heat-treated to improve its durability and, should a panel break, it shatters into small, blunt fragments rather than large, sharp shards.
This makes toughened safety glass a practical choice for garden greenhouses, particularly where safety is an important consideration. The clear panels also provide an unobstructed view of your plants and growing space while allowing plenty of natural daylight to enter
The Hera model combines glass side panels with a 16 mm polycarbonate roof, using each material where it offers the greatest benefit. The glass provides the clear, traditional appearance associated with glass greenhouses, while the polycarbonate roof adds insulation and greater impact resistance in an area exposed to the elements.
The roof is exposed to the harshest weather conditions, including hail, falling debris and heavy rain. By combining glass side panels with a durable polycarbonate roof, our hybrid design creates a greenhouse that's both beautiful and practical, offering excellent growing conditions without compromising on durability.
A greenhouse is a long-term investment, which is why every model is designed with durability, practicality and everyday gardening in mind. From the robust aluminium frame to integrated ventilation and easy access, every feature works together to create a greenhouse that's built to perform season after season.

Cleaning your greenhouse glass regularly helps maximise natural light and keeps your plants thriving. Dirt, algae and debris can gradually reduce light transmission, particularly during the wetter months. For the best results, clean the glass with warm water, a soft cloth or sponge and a mild glass cleaner designed for outdoor use. Avoid abrasive cleaning products or harsh tools that could damage the glass or surrounding seals.
We recommend cleaning your greenhouse inside and out at least once or twice a year, or more frequently if it's exposed to heavy pollen, tree sap or coastal conditions. While you're cleaning, it's also a good opportunity to inspect the glazing, frame and roof vents to ensure everything is in excellent working order.
Glass is an attractive greenhouse glazing material that has a number of benefits, including optimal light transmission and longevity. The choice of glass is perfect for an English garden, giving you a very traditional greenhouse look. We have a good range of large and mini greenhouses with glass panels. If you have questions to any aspect of our greenhouses, including the double sliding doors, windows, or greenhouse accessories, our team of garden experts will be happy to help.
